Media Bootcamp is proudly female led. We're friends first, colleagues second, and we've been working together in this business since 2017.
Ginger Gorman is a fearless and multi award-winning social justice journalist.
In the course of her 16-year media career she’s watched bodies burn at the crematorium, been strapped to a bondage wheel and recorded her own cancer treatment.
She’s interviewed everyone from eminent scientists and artists to hardened criminals and vicious Internet trolls. (In fact, she recently gave a gripping TEDx talk on this very issue.)
She has an innate ability to connect and communicate with some of the most interesting and marginalised people in our community. Ginger works hard to translate those untold stories into powerful and insightful journalism.
As a speaker Ginger is charismatic, warm and compelling.
She regularly writes stories, makes radio and TV for media outlets such as: news.com.au, Fairfax online, The Guardian, The Big Smoke, mamamia and the ABC.

Sue White has been a successful freelance journalist for over 18 years.
Sue's feature writing has seen her interview everyone from Ita Buttrose to Julian Assange’s lawyer for both The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.
As a travel writer (until COVID grounded the world), Sue juggled her journalism work with trekking to the source of fair trade chocolate (Belize) and checking out Gianni Versace’s 24-carat gold toilet (Miami)- all in the name of a story.
Today Sue writes weekly for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age (Nine newspapers). A popular coach and mentor, Sue has trained hundreds of CEOs, business owners and government employees in how to communicate authentically and persuasively in the media or in writing. Sue also was the creator and first Executive Producer of the Academy of the Social Science's in Australia's Seriously Social podcast.
Sue's strategic communications expertise and coaching skills are highly sought after across Australia, including by our clients.

Media Bootcamp's trainers were outstanding to work with and very responsive to engaging in a way which best suited my needs. They were skilled at assessing comfort and capability in a way which maximised our time together
ensuring I was able to get across the most
effective resources and tools to make sure I had the skills to do my job. This was a highly enjoyable engagement which has benefitted my approach to the public facing requirements of my role in every interaction since.
